Experiences in basic and clinical research inspired Dr. Jackson to pursue formal research training during my fellowship with an emphasis on health disparities. She was fortunate to be selected for the T32 Training Program in Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Disease Research which commenced July 1, 2020. Long term, she hopes to become an independent investigator with a focus on health disparities and minority health in patients with rheumatic disease.
